Celebration evening for our coaches and volunteers

Owairaka Athletics runs on volunteer energy and our volunteer coaches, parent helpers and committee put in heaps of it every week to keep the club vibrant and offering athletic opportunities for all our athletes. Over the last month or so we've had more than 40 individuals volunteering their time and efforts to keep everything going. Thank you all. What a team!

Please join us on Tuesday 4th March at 7pm to celebrate the efforts of all our coaches, volunteers and committee and to give some input on how we engage, celebrate and retain our volunteers as the club continues to grow.  We'd love to see as many people there as can make it. There will be food and drinks. The meeting will be led by Michael Halliday the Youth Sport Advisor from Sport Auckland. Part of his work is to help clubs like ours engage with their community volunteers and coaches.
